A guy from London visits his cousin, who has a farm in Vermont. He gets the whole tour. At the end, he asks, "What do you do with the extra produce?"

The Vermont farmer says, "Well, we eat what we can, and what we can't, we can!"

The Londoner goes home, and about a week later, with friends, all of a sudden bursts out laughing for no reason. His friends ask him why he's laughing. He says, "Well, you know I visited my cousin's farm in Vermont. I asked him what he does with his extra produce. He told me this great joke. He said, We eat what we can, and what we can't, we put in tins."

A month later, the Vermont farmer visits his uncle, who has a ranch in Texas. Same deal - he gets the tour. They ride all over in a truck. At the end of the day, the Vermont farmer says, "That's a mighty big ranch." The Texan says, "That's not even all of it. Why you can get in the truck and drive straight all day and not even leave it." The Vermont farmer says, "I had a truck like that."

The Vermont farmer says to the Texas rancher, that he had a low speed truck (like that) that took him driving all day to go around his farm. It's not that the ranch was too big, it was the truck that was too slow!
