Farmer-dressed wheat?

I usually see this word "farmer dressed" in wheat contracts, normally " quality: farmer dressed in bulk as per specification being..."

Could anyone help to explain what "farmer dressed" means? Thanks!

  2. I believe that your reference is to a certain level of processing (cleaning) and packaging (bagging) at the farm level as opposed to factory or storehouse.
