Farmers Lass likely to prevail in Owners Bonus Series - Heat 1
Farmers Lass has got a very good chance of securing a victory in the Owners Bonus Series - Heat 1 at Hove in England on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The winner of the Grade A2 event will be awarded a cash prize of £129.
The 515 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 15:48 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be taking part in it. Their names are as follows: Ballymac Minus, Droopys Brogan, Farmers Lass, Coonough Byway, Get On Grace and Helenas Maggie.
Looking at the overall distance to cover in the race, the stamina will play a crucial part in determining the winner. This is why Farmers Lass is expected to shine at Hove, as her endurance is best compared to her rivals.
The W. Wrighting’s trainee has got a lot of experience and has been delivering some solid results over the past few months. She has been running in different classes and knows how to tackle pressure at this level.
In her past five outings, the brindle b***h has managed to win on a couple of times. She has also got a lot of experience of Grade OR events, thus a drop in class will boost her chances of victory.
Farmers Lass finished fourth in her most recent outing, which was not a bad result at all, considering the fact that she was up against some very good runners. The pressure back then was also more, as it was a Grade OR event. However, things will be quite
easy for her in the race at Hove today.
The seasoned b***h is the daughter of Big Daddy Cool out of Killourney Lark and was born in October 2008.
On the other hand, the bookmakers expect Ballymac Minus and Droopys Brogan to be challenging in the race. The former of the two appears to be in a decent touch, as she has managed to win a couple of back to back events.
However, those victories came in difference circumstances, which suggest that things will not be easy for the J. Heath’s trainee today. She is the daughter of Rumble Impact out of Coolavanny Minor and was born in December 2009.
