  1. There will be a lot of things.  They will have to clean the barn(s) and also the equipment.  There will be a lot of repairing.  One more thing is to clean the manure out!  Don't worry, there will be enough work for you.

  2. CLEANING THE DAIRY BARN, WASHING THE MILKING EQUIPMENT, AND DON'T WORRY THERE WILL BE ENOUGH.

  3. I did some work experiance like that in the winter, but it was a beef herd.  You'll be cleaning out the milking room, helping to hoard them in, you'll help feed them in the mornings (you might get to drive the tractor! Or just hang off the side like I did) you might be sorting out the milk during the day, and fixing fences.

Remember your wellies, and some overals if you have any.  And wear suncream.  After working on their farm I was so so exhausted so get a good nights sleep before, and remember your packed lunch - make it a good one as you'll be starving!

  4. they do a lot preparing for everything else.  Clean stables, Gathering Food for the cattle, cleaning milk transport containers, clean electric milkers, hauling hay, moving manure, checking the cattle for injuries, and many other small task.. i.e., repairing barns, repairing machinery, repairing trucks... enjoy... the day is no done.

  5. wow

  6. all the above plus

fence fixing/building, cattle working (doctoring, cutting, weaning, branding, etc), taking care of the fields (fertilizing, weed spraying, plowing, planting), Hay cutting, hay baling, hay hauling, feeding cattle, bottle feeding calves, dealing with rodent/varmints, and the list goes on and on.
