How do farms use electricity?

  1. Besides the obvious house use, electricity is used to run pumps, milking machines, barn loft cranes, conveyor belts, tools for repairing machinery, and barn/shed/garage inside illumination.


  2. most milking is done using machines nowadays. they will use electricity of course.

  3. Ligth, heathing, air conditioning where needed, water pumping/irrigation, milking, pasteurization, fruit and produce packing, telephones use electricity to work, electric systems in tractors, and many etceteras.

  4. Pretty much everything in a farm uses electricity

    For instance the electricity in the battery in a tractor.

    Consider also all the other machines in modern farms (incubators, milking machines etc.)
