  1. Harsh words.

Favre no doubt has been the medias golden child for the past 4 yrs at least. I don't think he ask for this attention but I do think this situation could have been avoided.

  2. You know, even though I'm a Vikings fan, I've always been able to respect Favre for his playing, and his love for the game.

    I no longer respect him.

He is acting like a spoiled brat. He retired & knew d**n well that the Packers were moving on with Rodgers, who has been sitting on the sidelines for the past few years. So then, a few months later, he wants to come back, and acts like the red carpet should be rolled out for him. So now, after the media frenzy, after he's reinstated, he "can't move past things"  and wants a trade. WTF??? Dude, how did you NOT KNOW after the Packers told you numerous times, they were moving on??!! Get over yourself.

I will say though: Aaron Rodgers has won my respect. He has handled a crappy situation with class & humor. Favre could learn a thing for two from him there. I don't care if Rodgers turns out to be a sucky QB on the filed, OFF the field he has shown he can handle pressure. IMO, Rodgers is the one who should tell the Packers organization, Favre, and the "fans" who stood outside of practice chanting "We want Bret" & telling Rodgers "You suck" to pound sand.

So yeah, I think he's a narcissistic d-bag. Or at least, playing the part of one.

  3. no way is farve a d-bag!!! It made me pissed when he left!!!! Farve was an awesome quarter back!! Hey as long as he doesn't come to the cowboys team im ok wit dat!!! If u think about it farve is old and easy to beat! so wouldn't it be better if farve came back.... so u kno ur team could be better

  4. Agree

  5. oh does it bug you that he is one of the greatest QBs of all time? Are you a Bears fan?

  6. He's not. He was forced into an early decision by the Packers organization and just wants to play.

  7. No, I disagree.  He's just an emotional guy that can't stick with a decision.  He's very confused.

  8. wrong. he's putting the team first by saying he doesn't want to make it an issue and said that aaron rodgers is the starter and should be. he just wants to be traded or released so he can keep playing ball. there is nothing wrong with that.

  9. Your just upset because you didnt make the high school football team this year arent you?

  10. I strongly disagree. I'm sure he has a bit of an ego but what starting Qb doesn't. He is a bit of a media hound/drama queen, but that's about it. I think the guy may have been forced to make a decision on his career a bit prematurely by Ted Thompson, but if so he brought that on himself by constantly creating speculation for the past 5 off seasons. If they guy wants to play  let him. That said the Packers don't "owe" him anything much less the ability to play on a team of his choosing.  The Packers have every right to choose to move on without the guy, but at the same time don't ask for the world in return for a guy that everyone knows you don't want. Look at the McNair to Baltimore, and Green to Miami deals as examples. Take the best offer from a team not in the NFC North, wish the guy good luck and move on without him.

If anyone is to blame for this circus it's the media. They feed the story when there is nothing new to report. It's like Favre watch 24/7 on ESPN it's nuts.

  11. I agree, but not being a Packer fan I could give a rat what he does; however, all the time and energy waisted on this character is interfering with the coverage of actual football.

The Packers offered him a million dollars for each IQ point, he should take it and laugh all the way to the bank.

  12. I'm not sure if it's him so much as the media. But there is no denying that "d-bag" is absolutely one of the best nouns in the English language. :-)

  13. Agree!

  14. i agree but he is so much worse.

  15. No, but i do think skidrowdan is a narcissistic d-bag

  16. Nope, he his the best d**n quarterback ever! Even if he is going to the jets i still support him. Its hard letting go to a team you were so involved in. Its like when you break up with your girlfriend. Down the road you will  want them back (even though you wont admit it).

  17. Dissagree.

Oh, you've been sick of him?  Has he just been beating your team?

  18. I disagree-the Packers organization has handled this situation terribly and Ted Thompson should be fired.

You must be sick of him because your team got their butts handed to them by Brett Favre and the Packers

    PS-It's FAVRE

  19. I'm totally with fangirl on this one.

Move on Brett, you were great, but watching you now is like watching an old Willie Mays swing at air, an old Ali getting worked over by Holmes, an old Magic Johnson trying to play point forward, or like watching Mick Jagger sing Satisfaction.

Why tarnish a great career? Why not go out on top like Jim Brown or Barry Sanders? Move on, and shut up.

  20. Now he is really getting annoying. He ruined the Packer's org., but the Packer's are also stubborn.

  21. I agree, He retired. Give it up. He is owed nothing.
