Could you please specify your question?  That is a broad topic even if you are asking what one finds fascinating.  Being that your question is in the Geology section and I am an aspiring passionate geologist I will tell you what I find fascinating with ease.  

I find Geology in all aspects fascinating.  My favorite part of Geology is orogeny (mountain building) and volcanism.  How plates move on the Earth and build mountains and cause some of the most dangerous volcanic eruptions anyone can experience puts me in awe.
