Fashion Show...? I need outfit help.?

For some reason I got invited to a fashion show in New York and I don't know what to wear.

I need 2 outfits, one to watch the show and the other (maybe a bit moe formal) for the after party.

I don't have any connections (except the cousin who invited me) so I want to make a good first impression....Ã¢Â™Â¥

Btw I'm 16 and I don't like hollister, abercrombie and ae....and my cousin told me I have to look very high fashion to even be accepted in the party.... thanks :)

I have three days to buy everything :)

Go to Nordstrom or Marios... You should be able to have someone help you find two outfits. I call my sales girl at Nordstrom, tell her what I want to spend, where I am going, if I need accessories and she has a few options for me to try on when I get there. I really like T.B.D and Savvy (great departments!!) Have fun!

go with something simple classic but elegant.

Find a cute cocktail dress. It's something you can wear to the show, and don't have to change to go to the party.You can always throw a shaw/sweater over the dress if you are cold.

Definetely heels, and some nice assessories. Borrow your mom's jewerly if you have to.

OMG! COOL!

If I was going for the show and after party I would wear:

Show:

Dark Navy or Black skinny jeans. With a pair or black heels or flats. And, a cute and longer than usual baby doll tee in either blue or purple. Then of course some jewelry, what ever I can find that matches!

The After-Party:

A cute black cocktail dress with black heels.

since i don't live in America I can't give you any shops but I can give you pointers (like you did for me)

Try to get a ruffle top blouse in a bright color and REALLY wide leg jeans. Wear this outfit with wedges.

For a more formal outfit try a black cocktail dress with bright tights and black heels...it may sound weird now, but it looks fab at a formal do because you stand out and fit in!!

The j=key to making an outfit look good is confidence so stop feeling so nervous!! Good luck!!

Right 1st BUY VOGUE, look for some ideas, make sure everything is glitzy and u.t.d, have a nice bag,

If it was me I think I would wear skinny jeans with some killer gladiator heels, a nice cashmeer cardigan un buttoned with the sleeves pushed up and a vest top under neath with toooooonnnsss of mechanic jewellry and hair  extentions idk something like that =S
