Fashion advice for 20yr male?

Question

Ok so I am trying to be more stylish. What is a good style? I am open to any suggestions but i prefer a sort of preppy style without being too preppy. Recommendations on tees/polos/shirts, pants- long and short and shoes would be greatly appreciated.

you dont need to pick a specific style, just buy things that you feel comfortable and confident in in a cohesive way.  i would suggest for pants to go for mavi denim and for shorts to go with quiksilver.  paul frank or lacoste are great options for polos. for tshirts go for rvca or obey. check out the mens section of www.southmoonunder.com to see examples.

So today I saw this guy hes so stylish he was wearing skinny Prada jeans but not to skinny its loose :P  and a  polo and he was wearing gucci shoes I LOVE STYLISH GUYS who wear designers clothes

I have a preppy style also, and the thing about the "preppy" style isn't about being daring/ bold with colors like neon purple or anything like that.

Its more of how you wear the clothes.

A cheap polo from Aeropostale will easily beat a Lacoste one if the Lacoste one is bent and creased.

Polos I recommend:

-Lacoste

-Ralph Lauren

-Tommy Hilfiger

Shirts:

-Tommy Hilfiger

-Ralph Lauren (Only if you like a more mature look)

-Calvin Klein

Pants, either jeans or khaki or twill.

A blazer with a hoodie looks great but it can be worn with only the blazer or visa versa.

Shoes:

Classic shoes like the AF1 from Nike look great.

Accessories:

A nice looking watch is a major plus, at least spend 100 dollars on it.

Some of the stuff at Aeropostale, Abercrombie and American Eagle also look great but their not considered to be true "preppy" by people over 21.
