Generally fashion emanates from Paris, London & New York and it does affect our culture, especially the small towns and cities. Fashion is seldom consistent with culture. Fashion only aims at feebly covering the essentials and leaves the rest for public viewing, whereas culture covers all essential and non essential, and allows the imagination to wander among trees and hills, flowers and butterflies, moon and the stars. Fashion makes confrontation between children and parents, it is responsible for creating the much hyped  'generation gap'.
