Fashion help - layering shirts?

Question

I have a purple v-neck shirt and a yellow curve-neck shirt that I want to layer. My problem is that I don't know if the two necklines go together very well. The v-neck is very deep (it actually goes past my bra a little bit, so I put the yellow underneath for some modesty. However the yellow shirt's neckline is very high, up to my neck. I'm not sure if this looks right, so can anyone out there tell me if this is fashion-appropriate? (I put on a chunky necklace to take away from some of the yellow, but I'm still unsure.)

umm if the yellow goes to ur nck it wont loook cute. try putting on a yellow tank umder it instead and keep the jewelry
