Fashion.....i dont want to be like EVERY OTHER GIRL!?

well i want to be origanal but i dont want to stand out in a bad way. i usually wear hollister and abercrombie like EVERYONE ELSE and everyone else likes rap and stuff buti really just dont likee it. im scarred that no boys and stuff will like me if i dont wear those kind of clothes...??

like you i didnt like rap or hip hop. id only listen to it cuz its the only kind of music u can free dance to. and i LOVE to dance. but when i actually LISTEN to music i love mellow rock. and oldies.

but for your clothes. figure out why u wear hollister. is it because the polos look good on you? or u look good in grafic tees? then apply what u know about the clothes u wear at your TYPICAL store and go to a store that looks...more...hard core ... then get some stuff like it. dont make a TOTAL big change or u will stand out in a bad way. get the same kind of clothes u would at hollister and abercrombie but at a diffrent store. that way u can look good and stand out. and when some1 asks...oh thats a cool pair of pants were did u get it? u wont just answer abercrombie or hollister, u will say something like ZARA or LUCKY BRAND ... mayb even MANGO.

Calm down, guys don't date you just for your clothes.  They also date you for you.  So what you're not into the same music as the other kids.  You can take the current trends and make them your own by adding accessories and mixing things up.  People will like you if you are confident and personable.  Good luck with school.

Don't worry about what 'everyone else' is wearing. If you have your own style.. then you will be respected for that..   and i gotta let you know  heaps of guys think girls are stupid for all wearing the same clothes and stuff..  heaps of them really think its silly.

Feel free to express your style through what you wear..  and any guy who doesn't love you for that doesn't deserve you..  i mean  you dont really want a guy like that anyway..

i know it sounds corny, but just be yourself, go shopping, try stuff on and if you like it buy it, don't go trying to meet any stereotype, be it the hollister/abercrombie/every-other-girl-i... look or any other (emo, scene, etc), try not to even worry about fashion.

what you want to concentrate on is your style, fashion comes and goes but style lasts, it defines you as a person and it's what other people notice, if what you're wearing is really your own style it will probably be more flattering as well. you'll only be happy with how you look if it's really an expression of who you are, which means following your instincts when it comes to clothes.

i've never looked like the other girls, i wear skirts, boots, earthy colours, eccentric things, a bit girly, a trench coat, really short hair, lipstick, whatever feels right for me, and i've never had any complaints, especially not from guys, in fact people often complement me on my style. if your being yourself then chances are people will appreciate that you look original and different and the people you get to know will like you for you, not some stereotype they think you are.

Wear what you want, when you want. Labels don't mean squat. Wear that Hollister shirt and know that you are still you. If guys judge you by what you wear and not your personality, they were losers to begin with.

A boy shouldn't like you for what clothes you wear anyway. He should like you for your personality and how you make him feel

Anyway, I suggest just going in some stores and seeing what you love and wearing it. Don't even concern yourself with what others will think. They don't matter and you need no one's approval but your own.
