  1. No, pretty much the same

  2. Nope, id say we dress pretty much the same......lots of people wear Abercrombie here

Most of the shops are similar (if not the same!) so theres no big difference

Just stay the way you are, its sounds like you dress fine

Also, i agree with the "rainjacket andwaterproof shoes" thing....

    You DONT need them

I mean, yeah, take a jacket in case in rains, but its not like monsoon weather lol

  3. don't bring a rainjacket and waterproof shoes, you'll look very out of place, people will be nudging each other and staring at you!

just bring 3/4 lenghts, skinny jeans, normal tops, short sleeves, halter tops a few hoodies if it gets a bit cool, thats what most women wear over here during summer

  4. wear something warm!!!

  5. Nah, It's all the same

  6. At which point I have to ask, does it really matter?

The most important thing is to bring a raincoat & a pair of waterproof shoes, whether you’re fashionable or not is largely irrelevant

Edit: there are plenty of fashionable shoes & trainers in waterproof materials and raincoat and there are just as many in materials that will soak up the rain & become useless  - any jacket or coat that won't be soaked through within five minutes of the rain starting

I was home in March, February & December, it rained.  In July last year I went to Oxegen, it rained solidly for 3 weeks beforehand, it rained during the festival & it rained afterwards.  I'm going home again in June, I fully expect it to rain again.  Does anyone deny that this weekend has been wet?

I live in the UK most of the time, in comparison to the UK, it rains a lot in Ireland.  It's also d**n cold, even at the height of summer I make sure I carry a jacket or cardigan & I always make sure that the shoes I'm wearing can stand up to the ever changing weather.

  7. Ireland has many different fashions, I mean we do have the stereotypical clicks like preps, skangers (tracksuits and the like) metallers, emos so on so forth but 90% of the population doesnt really have a fashion? Pretty much anything goes as far as I can see?

  8. bring a rainjacket,an umbrella,a scarf,,maybe suncream and shorts also!!! (we had a heatwave 4 the past 2 weeks,but it was lashing rain 2day!!)

    =D

  9. Hey. Not its not different....Although you will notice a lot of girls wear football(soccer if your american) jerseys with tracksuits...this is a working class thing mainly, but not reserved for them.

and to people who say ''bring rainjacket''.....let me assure you, you will not need anything like that.

Ireland might not be California, but the weather is fine...and I'm from Nigeria originally.

    Enjoy your time.

  10. ye alot of people wear abercrombie! just wear casual clothes, jeans and that, you'll be fine

  11. What you have is fine! A lot of people here wear abercrombie and american eagle.

Yeah i agree with not bringing the rain jacket and wellies. Just bring a normal jacket and runners and whatever.

Anyway fashion is just basically the same so your not going to step pff the plane and go 'OMG what type of place is this?!' We're not THAT bad! But there is different type of groups (knackers, skangers etc.)

Anyway have fun on your trip!
