  1. There is none.

  2. Proactive might dry your skin out.  It dried mine out and left scars!  I don't recommend it whatsoever.

I use Clearasil now and my dermotalogist suggested that line or Neutrogena's.  Use the entire 3 step set:  cleanser, toner, and lotion.  It may also come with another tiny spot treatment.  It's great!

  3. clearasil quick treatment clean with 10% benzoyl peroxide works really fast, it makes most acne go a way in 2-3 days

  4. I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

Believe it or not, your long hair is a contributing factor to your breakouts. Girls usually keep their hair off their face. But males with long hair usually do get breakouts because they dont keep their hair off their face and the sweat is a contributor to the breakouts as well.

If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

  5. just don't touch your face. maybe cut your hair? it will really! help. hairs shouldn't be in front of your face 'cause of the bacteria. should know that!

http://www.mothernature.com/library/book... visit the website it will help you

  6. Try putting Noexema cleansing cream 15 minutes before you shower but don't use intense soap...use some of the most gentle stuff you have and then after put a moisturizer cream on

  7. Methylated spirits

    or straight peroxide

  8. Here it comes>>>>>>>>>>>http://epictureperfect.net/acne_cure.php

  9. Try wearing a terry cloth head band and wear your hair outside of it, so your skin doesn't touch your face and put your hair in a pony tail. All so check out www.plushpillowcases.com  They naturally clean your skin while you sleep.  SWEET DREAMS

  10. There is no quick fix for acne.  Your doctor may recommend some prescription medication.  Keep your face very clean.  Drink plenty of water.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  Try to reduce the stress in your life.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

  11. PREVENT HAIR ON YOUR FOREHEAD. DO BRUSH IT UP ALWAYS. TRY PUTTING SOME EXTRA STRENGTH BENZOIL PEROZIDE ON THE ACNE SPOTS, THIS WILL SURELY DRY THEM OUT FAST. BUT STILL KEEP YOUR FACE CLEAN, BY WASHING IT WITH AN OIL-FREE NON-COMOGENIC CLEANSER.

  12. oh hthese these great cleansing pads called: Clearasil acne control pore cleansing pads. they work fast and are really good, but they smell like alchol when you first put it on.

  13. Well when hair is greasy and oily (which most guys hair is) dandruff is most likely present. When dandruff falls onto the skin it form pimples, which is probably what you are experiencing. A really good thing to do would be avoiding having your hair on your face and that's also why people with long hair get pimples on their back too. Ugh i know!

The SOLUTION however is calamine lotion. Before going to bed, wash your face thoroughly with Nivea Visage Ocean Gel, it's a blue gel in a clear plastic bottle. Then pat your face dry, not rub! Then shake the calamine lotion and using your pinky dab it on the affected areas. It dries out the pimples, eventually making it dissapear. To make sure it doesn't scar, use a good moisturiser that won't make your skin oily in the morning. Hope it's not too girly but ey which girl wouldn't like your clear skin??

  14. USE A GOOD EXFOLIATER EVERY SECOND DAY. this will clear the dead skin cells and help stop them clogging your poors, cleanse and tone your skin every night . avoid too much harsh alcahol as this just strips the natural ph level of the skin and produces more oil and therefor more pimples. Use an oil free moisturiser(get one that is water based) . keep your skin clean. You are getting more pimples because hair on your face is a good carrier of bacteria and hair products. investing in some products with Glycolic acid are Good for acne . but less than 12% will not be sufficient enough to do a good job!

  15. i used proactive solutions for a bit...i really didn't like anything in the kit but the mask...lol..i think it works better thought if you leave it on over night...but really the best thing ive used and still using is...monistat 7 (old school method 7 day box) and ambe soap (face wash) for my acne...trust me...you'll see unbelievable results the next morning...btw you can get all that at walmart...the soap...look in the black section...lol..and both these...use em for how ever long you need too...

    day

    1. wash ur face with ambe soap

    2.apply monosate 7...dab on forehead...cheeks...chin..rub in...do not wash...

    night

    1. repeat step 1 and 2 (of above)..just put it on a little heaver than you would in the day

    2. sleep in it

    3. repeat

ps...if you want to use the proactive mask...do it only once a wee...its hella harch on ur skin to use more than that...

pps...you can also use Monostat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel as a makeup primer (foundation base)!!!
