Fast Car. SUPER fast car.?

Question

I want a super fast car. Not like, getaway car fast... like, Edward Cullen fast. Anyone know of a car that can go over 150 without whining?

Most cars I like get to about 145 stock, raise the boost on the factory turbos and throw in a turboback exhaust and 150 should be easy.

Asumming you can't afford a Ferrari or the like, you should get a Camaro with a 5.7  liter V8, or a mustang with a V8. Then you should modify it, Twin Turbo, NOS, chip, exhaust, intake, etc. The reason why I chose camaro and mustang is because they offer big V8 engines for a LOW price.

You have a couple options here #1 You can go with a Corvette Z06 or standard Vette it wont matter both will do 190mph for less than $70,000 #2. You can even go cheaper but I'm telling you 150mph isn't fast nowadays as a Honda civic will hit 155mph eventually... so i would recommend you do some research in to high-performance vehicles, i personally recommend Road & Track magazines as they have a spec page in all editions that will give you price, top speed and 0-60.

Any Japanese or German or Korean car with 270HP-330HP can reach up to 155mph.

Today, most V6 engines in Japanese cars make that power and reach that governed limited speed. 155mph.

Any Porsche can easily reach 160mph. Even the slowest and cheapest, the Porsche Boxster.

For American cars, you need 400HP cars to reach 150 mph easily. They need more power because they are usually less aerodynamic and heavier. Example: The 300HP Mustang GT only reaches 146mph.

there are plenty of fast cars out there Lamborghini, ferrari, Bugatti, Masserati, audi, mercedes, maclearan, bmw, and plenty of others.    finding a fast car is no problem, funding a fast car is a different story..
