Fast Food Horror!?

Question

There are many horror stories out there.. but i eat fast food often and i want to know stories people who actually worked at a joint.

my mom worked at burger king and she said they had a roach infestation,in the summer when people wanted milkshakes they would come in swarms out of the top of the vat,they would close the restaurant down to spray poison and then when they opened again the floor was covered with dead roaches,whenever they walked thru the kitchen their shoes went "crunch" "crunch" "crunch"

oh yea then one time someone went to the bathroom and smeared s*it on the walls and made shapes with the s*it

including hearts!

I worked at KFC when I was 16 and I saw trays of chicken dropped on the floor and picked back up like nothing happend....gross..

i have worked at many restarunts and every place i have worked (non of which are considered fast food) have had some kind of animal living in them...mice, roaches, ants.  so its not just fast food  that has infestations.  if you are really that worried then eat at home.  thats what i do, i never even eat at the places i work.

I eat food and then I make peoples food all with my hands at burger king. They don't have infestations or they would be shut down. A lot of things are dropped on the floor but burger meat and all that stuff is thrown out if dropped on the floor.

i worked at a mcdonalds for 3 days, i saw how gross it was and quit.  burger patties dropped on floors and still served, no gloves EVER**, ive seen people sneeze on the grill and stuff. it was really gross.

I worked at dairy queen for a summer . and my brother has worked at pizza place that isn't a chain i find that chains seem to be a little careless because they don't have a rep to build because the international commmercials do that for them . i personaly thought it was kinda gross working there because people would go for a smoke break and not wash there hands when they came in or when they got off luch there was no gloves .the manager would get the poutine cheese from the fridge with just his hands that where dirty . and normaly only wipe down the counters once a day in the kitchen and just with water same and most water like in the ice and stuff isn't filtered.

I used to work at McDonalds. It wasn't too bad, but some things were pretty bad.

Some of the guys would have "spit races" in the oil vats. But since the oil is so hot, the bacteria/germs are killed quickly.

I've seen a fly fried with french fries before and a customer brought it back up to me at the counter and wanted new fries. LoL. Flies got in all the time from the drive through windows constantly being opened.

A LOOONG time ago my mom, dad, and I were out of town and went to a McDonalds. My mom went inside to get the food while dad and I waited in the car. When dad went to eat his fish sandwich there was a big bite out of it. He started laughing because he thought mom did it. But she freaked out and stopped him from taking a bite because she didn't touch it. Whoever made it must have taken a bite out of it.

Crispy chicken isn't a wise choice at McDonalds. It sits in the rack for HOURS at a time and gets old and hard and nasty.

I always got in trouble for draining grease off the beef when I grilled burgers. They are supposed to soak in their own grease in the rack so they can "finish cooking" I was told. They didn't let me grill burgers anymore after the 3rd or 4th time they caught me draining the grease. If I ever made my own burger on break I would pick one that had been in there at least 10 minutes so it was "finished coooking" and then put gloves on and wring it out like a sponge over the trashcan so I could get all the nasty grease out.

I've never seen anyone spit in food or do anything like that to it. But I have seen people make the food in the back without gloves on. So they were touching everyone's pickles/onions/lettuce/etc. with bare hands.

The bathrooms were nasty.  One time I had to clean the women's and men's both and it was the last time I did that.  Blood (probably from a period) smeared all over the women's toilet.  **** splattered all up under the seat.  Blah....  The men's was probably worse.  Half eaten cheeseburger soaked in pee in the urinal.  A p**p covered sock on the floor from someone using it because the toilet paper was out.  p**p smeared on the walls like fingerpaint.  It was horrible.  And the sink was always caked in mud/dirt because it was like a truck stop McDonalds since it was on the edge of town.  I wanted to cry it was so nasty.

My future brother-in-law used to work at KFC and he wouldn't tell details, but he said never eat there (at least that store) because it was really bad. One time he said they dropped a whole tray of chicken on the floor then still put it in the bucket to sell. He said that's not as bad as some of the stuff that goes on. So, I kinda don't go there anymore. LoL.

And supposedly the meat they use at Taco Bell is the same grade they use to make dog food. So it's not good. But I don't know how true that is.
