I am spending Christmas in Dublin and have major Christmas Day lunch/dinner problem. I am traveling with budget and my hotel doesn't provide restaurant services on Christmas day. Eating in other restaurants is way too expencive so the question is, are all the fast food chain restaurants also closed for the 25th?

  1. Are you seriously considering eating fast food for your christmas lunch?

  2. Well you know the Irish are not big on being able to prepare food anyway so you might want to go with the local custom of drinking yourself under a table...

  3. put an add in the local paper for a xmas lunch companion there are loads of ppl who have to eat alone xmas day who dont want to

  4. glad you have your own kitchen.  As far as I am aware nowhere is open on Christmas Day.  Not even chinese restaurants that I know of.  Enjoy your christmas here and if you live in Finland (I've been there) you will find it much cheaper here!

    Happy Christmas

  5. prob mc donalds lol..

  6. The answer is probably closed - yes

Your best plan might be to stock up on goodies from one of the supermarkets on Christmas Eve and then tuck in on Christmas day without the hassle of wandering miles hoping that somewhere will be open.

  7. try some of the Chinese places, indian as well, they're not big christmas people are they?

  8. Would this be Dublin, Ireland, or Dublin, California, or yet another Dublin I'm not aware of?

    EDIT:

Faith and Begorrah! I'd be havin' no idea where ta be eatin' some fine corned beef 'n' cabbage on Christmas day!

  9. i doubt that any place would be open on christmas, maybe if you have a microwave in your hotel room you could buy ready cooked meals, good luck anyway
