Fast On to strike the debut success through the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Handicap
Two in the line-up of twelve three-year-old and above for the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Handicap, are interesting entries who have the scope of improvising on their previous performance and take back the €5,520 prize money to the connections on Monday, 8th October at Tipperary race course. The participants will have to prove themselves over the seven furlong and 100 yard track.
The three-year-old grey gelding, Fast On, has raced five times during the current season, and today will be his first try at Tipperary. The Seamus Fahey trained has not been able to win any race ever since the new season shot in, and today he might just make the most out of the chance that has presented itself.
After a struggling initial season, the three-year-old started settling down, and proved that by maintaining the third position in the last two outings.
The Liam Toland owned ended third in the John & Terry Moriarty Memorial Handicap on 21st September, 2012 at Listowel over 6 ½ lengths.
She managed the third position with jockey, Michael Hussey, onboard after Jackemil had won, defeating Three Bells by just half-length.
He then extended the composure to the Kilkenny Handicap (Division I) on 5th October, 2012 at Gowran Park over a mile.
Verglas’ three-year-old grey gelding out of, Dream State, once again ended at the same third position as before with the same jockey, Michael Hussey.
The race was won by, Knights Templar, as the runner-up, Eastern Rules, missed the spot by a neck’s mark.
Fast On will once again join forces with jockey, Michael Hussey, and if the two will be able to change the rankings this time around or not will unveil soon.
Crystal Wings is another credible entry for the race.
Six outings of the new season could not bestow him with success, and it was during the seasonal debut that he raced at Tipperary.
Hawk Wing’s gelding ended sixth in the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Handicap (Division II) on 24th July, 2012 at Tipperary over 7 ½ furlongs. The race was won by the favourite entry, Fit The Cove.
He will leave from the seventh stall with jockey, Joseph O’Brien.
