Fast Track coaching program was very beneficial, says Umar Amin - Cricket News Update

Pakistan’s out of favour left handed middle order batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Umar-Amin-c94597 has described the recently concluded fast track program of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as very beneficial for the players. He said that it was a great opportunity for the youngsters to
improve their game under the guidance of some of the legends in the country.
Amin burst into the scene of international cricket last year with a hope that he will carry the burden of Pakistan’s middle order batting for years to come. However, the left handed failed to make a huge impact in international cricket and could not play
a big innings even after a number of opportunities, but the youngster did catch the eyes of a number of cricket analysts, who rated him as a very talented prospect.
The first part of the fast track program was conducted in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for top order batsmen and fast bowlers, where http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sarfraz-Nawaz-Malik-c88831 worked with the upcoming players of the country.
The young left hander from Rawalpindi claims that he has learnt to develop the innings in the camp with the able guidance of the chief selector of PCB, Mohsin Khan, who himself was a stylish opening batsman in his playing days.
Umar said, “This camp included opening batsmen and prime fast bowlers from all over http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohsin-c77587 Bhai was our batting consultant in this camp and he talked to me about the importance of how to develop an innings, how to stay
at the wicket for long periods, and how to play with a bowler's mind. Tactically his input was very helpful to me.”
Umar is very positive about his future and believes that he is going to make a comeback to the national team, sooner or later. He expressed that he is learning as a cricketer and getting better with every passing season.
“I am still going through a development phase as a cricketer and still learning a lot. I am working hard to adapt to these improvements to help me return to the international team,” the left hander added.
