Fast bowlers to play an important role against India, says http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PM-Siddle-c2197 – Cricket News Update
Australia’s fast bowler, Peter Siddle, understands that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Michael-Lyon-c78822 will play a huge role in the upcoming Test series against India but feels that the pacers will have to be at the top of their game if the Kangaroos are to dismantle
the Men in Blue.
Siddle was talking to reports upon his departure for India at Melbourne airport. The Baggy Greens are presently playing a limited-overs series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usman-Khawaja-c2729,
Nathan Lyon, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SPD-Smith-c2555 have departed for India in order to prepare for the all-important series, which begins on February 22 with the first of the four Tests, at Chennai.
Pitches in India are usually conducive for spin bowling and they do not offer much to the speedsters. However, Siddle is confident about delivering the goods against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 and company. The right-arm seamer has been the
spearhead of the Aussie bowling attack in recent times, having done brilliantly against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in the on-going season.

The 28-year-old cricketer believes that the best way to attack the Indian batsman is through pace and bounce. Siddle maintains that Lyon, the off-spinner, will be the key for his team but the fast bowlers must support him efficiently.
“The best way of attacking India is with whatever your best line-up is,” Siddle expressed. “The way we've won Test matches for years now has been with our pace and I think that is going to play a big role. But Nathan [Lyon] is going
to play a big role at the other end, and his game is going to flourish even more with the pressure we build at our end.”
In order to dismiss India twice in the match, Siddle thinks that the spinners and the pacers have to complement each other quite well.
“Combined, we'll do well and definitely be able to take 20 wickets. We're strong, we've got a good set of quicks going over and we've got good back-up for Nathan,” he added.
