Do fast food places actually call the references on your applications? Or the places you have previously worked?

  1. Sometimes they will call one of the people you have listed, but it really depends on what type of job you're applying for.  If it's just to work in the restaurant at the front counter - not very likely because turnover is pretty high in those places.

  2. fast food places usually don't call, but sometimes they do.

  3. Not in my experience. Just fill the application with what they want to see, "Eager to learn, hard-working, like to work with people", and BINGO! Welcome $7.00 an hour.

  4. The turn around in employees is to fast, so they just hire people to take the place of the people that have quit

  5. yes they do. if you say you were a manager for a differant store, they are going to call that store and ask why you left. and how long you were a manager. ect ect.

i worked in fast food and i was a manager, and the general manager and district manager did that to make sure they werent hiring any foneys. so yes they do do that.

now for the references, i dont think they actually call the references, but they would like to see some.

oh and they also want to call your previous job to see if they had any problems with you and if you had team work ect ect.

  6. it depends on what position you are applying for and impression you make sometimes.

  7. For a $5.15 per hour position? Highly unlikely.

  8. no not always. it really depends on the manager. but most fast food managers dont have time for that.

  9. doubtful

  10. Dont count on it.

  11. they actually just want to know if you are capable of completing an application

  12. wat h**l youm talking ahbout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!...
