  1. The book Fast Food Nation is a non-fiction book by Eric Schlosser & I have to say it is one of the most genuinely scary books I've ever read.

The film is fiction based on the novel.

  2. Do you mean fiction or non-fiction?

Obviously it is a book. It would be if it were a novel or not.

  3. i read some of it last year. a novel (dictionary.com definition) is -a fictitious prose narrative of considerable length and complexity, portraying characters and usually presenting a sequential organization of action and scenes. so it's not a novel, and obviously it's a book but i think there's another word for that kind of book, but i can't think of it at the moment.
