Fast skateboard bearings?

on my board 3 of the wheels spin really fast and for a long time which is a good sign, but the other one only spins about 1/2 as long, is that a problem, and are fast bearings important, or is it just as long as your able to get enough speed to hit stuff your fine.

  1. its most likely one or more of these problems

1 it gots some dirt in it. spray some 409 and lube it. should work better

2  Axel nut is to tight on it. light the nut all the way then loosen it 1/4-3/4 of a complete turn

3  if the bearings are old then they may just be starting to wear down. they dont wear out at the same time so that's why its just one wheel, for now

4  it could be that if your bearings are new there is 1 or 2 that simply have a defect. take them out and spin them if they both suck seperate them. put ea sucky bearing with a good one. if its just one you could put it with ur best one or just leave it.

it shouldn't affect ur skating to much i wouldn't worry about it , if my first two suggestions dont work, dont worry its very common, i wouldn't buy any new ones until it happens to at least 3 of ur wheels and even then u can still skate them.

    i hope this helps

  2. Patrick's right, that one bearing is probably a lot dirtier than the others. If you hear a lot of noise when you spin the wheel, it's probably filled with gunk and stuff that hinders the balls in the bearings from rolling. If you like the bearings you already have, you can try to clean them... Cleaning instructions can be found on a google search and such. If not I've also heard bones reds are high quality bearings.

  3. You gotta have good bearings. Check out bone reds if you don't have them already. They're cheap and really good. If you wanna shell out some more money get bone swiss. Maybe you got it dirty. You can buy bearing cleaners to help you out with that.
