Faster to get to manhanttan or brooklyn in the morning during rush hour in a motorcyle?

most bikers lane share to get ahead in traffic. I dont want to hear how illegal or dangerous it is!!!!!!!! i know

but will it be a faster way to get there instead of a car or a commute

  1. There is a federal law allowing motorcycles in the HOV lane (high occupancy vehicle), but the NYPD do not honor it - even though they're in the wrong.

    If you want to take your chances, then a motorcycle would be faster.

    I used to ride on the SS Pkwy in rush hour traffic - not a fun experience.

    Take a sick day from work and try it.


  2. Yes. It is faster to get anywhere on a bike, especially somewhere like NYC.

    I do not know if splitting lanes is legal or not in NYC, I only lived there a short time.

    I argue that splitting lanes is NOT dangerous. I do it all the time. If you find it dangerous, then it probably is for you and you should not do it.
