Faster way to load youtube videos?

it just takes too long to load videos on you tube do i have to download some program or something?I have seen that in other peoples computer youtube vids load in a blink of an eye(well almost) so is there something i can do?

The videos that do not get viewed a lot seem to be kept on youtube's older servers, so they download slowly.

The ones that are view more often download faster -- presumably because they are stored on newer equipment.

Look at how many times a video has been view. it it has a lot of hits, then it is stored on the newer servers, and downloads a lot faster.

if you have an apple and you make it on iMovie then when you export it to your desktop do it as CD ROM instead of full quality. It is quicker.

if you have something else, you need a faster internet connection or you need to make your vid shorter. check out mine and comment!

Get a faster internet connection.

You know, there are alternatives to Dial-Up internet. If you could spring a couple extra bucks a month, I'm sure you could get what most people are using called "DSL Modems" which would increase your download speeds.

If you want ultra fast internet, maybe go all out and get a T1 line!

There's even companies offering Fiber Optic internet now! Sweeeet

Try refreshing the webpage

or...

Turn off web accelerator, if you have one - it may be conflicting with youtube.

or..

It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just  google search "zillatube" to get it.
