Fastest and cheapest way from Pearson Int. Airport to U of T?

I have to go to a friend's house immediately after I get off my plane at 5:15 pm this Friday. He lives along Bloor and really close to the University of Toronto. Since the ttc is stuck in the 19th century, they don't have an option for planning a route online, so can any Torontonians lend a hand?

By TTC, take the Bloor-Danforth line westbound to Kipling Station. Then transfer to the 192 Airport Rocket bus. You could also take the Airport Express shuttle, which will pick you up from the 89 Chestnut Street residence (near Dundas/University).
