‘Fastest’ expected in summer during the 2011 MotoGP season - MotoGP Update
MotoGP fans can now get a taste of their favourite sport MotoGP, in the upcoming film, ‘Fastest’. The film originally is a feature documentary film, directed by Mark Neale.
‘Fastest’, is the most awaited full-length documentary feature film due to hit screens by the summers, which is created by the British artistic director, Neale.
The documentary feature film is a sequel after the successful pre-released films like ‘Faster’ and ‘The Doctor, the Tornado and the Kentucky Kid’. Director, Mark Neale is now preparing to screen his new project for his fans and MotoGP enthusiasts. The new
Grand Prix themed film is sure to attract many viewers to the screen, who want to know more about their favourite sport.
The documentary film was shot around the world in 2010 and 2011, which is supported by the narrating voice of Ewan McGregor. The movie is expected to capture the essence of the MotoGP World Championship. The film also captures the turning points of MotoGP,
which is one of the most competitive sports in the world.
The film gives a view of the nine-time Grand Prix World Championship title holder, Valentino Rossi, who has shifted to Ducati in the current season. Rossi is shown in pursuit of his tenth world title, in the documentary.
It also covers that how the Italian headed into the toughest situation of his victorious career. The dilemma was created after young GP contenders entered the premier class level. Apprehensions were further added when he faced an accident, during his homeland
event. To silence his critics, the Italian made a stunning comeback just after 40 days.
The present Ducati rider also had to face his former team-mate rider, Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha Factory Racing, who took the 2010 world title. Rossi’s tough era of his spanning GP career took an anti-climatic turn, when his rivals in MotoGP rose a question,
‘who is the fastest rider now?’
The full-length documentary film is produced by Paul Taublieb for Media X International. ‘Fastest’ is due to premier by the summer of 2011, but only in selected countries which include UK, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
The director, while speaking about his creation, said, “‘Fastest’ is the greatest feeling. ‘Fastest’ is the greatest risk. This is the essence of MotoGP and of the movie. The ecstasy and the terror of life at the very highest level of motorcycle racing.”
The forth coming round of the 2011 season is being held at the Le Mans circuit in France. The previous third round was pure drama, when Dani Pedrosa passed the defending world champion, Jorge Lorenzo in the last and fourth lap of the race, to extend their
gap over the finish line with a glorious victory, despite harsh pain.
