Fastest way to get to Fresno CA from San Jose CA?

im leaving today @ 6:00 during Traffic :( and need to be there by 8:00 or 8:30 latest

Yeah, pretty much 99 to 152 to 85...But you're gonna have to drive like a bat out of h**l to make it in time.  Even mapquest says it'll take 2.5 hours, and that's with no traffic.

The good news is that you won't hit the Bay Area traffic, since you'll be getting here so late...You might just make it, but do please be careful!

SANS...how many times have we done this? leave earlier if u can, but other than that its gonna take u at least 2.5 hrs...101 s, to 152 east, to 99...by the time u get into fresno, there will be no traffic..y'all will be carpoolin so, maybe u'll ge to the 152 faster!!! BE SAFE...im sure they would rather have you there a bit late, than not at all....love ya

if you drive like 120 pretty much the whole way thas the only way ull make it.. if i was you id take someone with you so u can at least use the car pool lanes.

I'd take 101 South to 152. Then 152 to 99 and 99 South.
