Fastforward live tv?

i know this is completely random but i have been wonderinq for a while now

in all the commercial they're like oh you can "fastforward" live tv

if its live and you fastforward, what are you fastforwardinq to?

it didn't even happen yet!

so who's lyinq?

the tv show about it beinq live or the cable/satellite companies

what do you think?

well u can only fast forward recorded TV or if u are not caught up to the live part of a show yet.

You can pause live tv, then resume when you want, but you can never go past the present of a broadcast. It just isnt possible.

however anything you record you can pause, rewind, fast foward, instant replay, slow motion, stop, etc.---this is what i do, i would rather wait an hour and watch it recorded so i can skip thur commercials :D
