Fat Tuesdays in Cancun Mexico, Is it open?

Question

I was in cancun last feb 07, and it was closed. I read somewhere online that it re-opened in a different location. Is this true? I could really go for a "190 octane" when I roll into cancun in 10 days..

Fat Tuesdays is open, but it's not the same as when it was in the previous location. It's now situated alongside the Captain Hook Pirate ships, so no beach parties any longer.... complete waste of a good business !!!

But yes... it's open and is a good place to watch the Football and Rugby.

Well don't get your hopes up for that drink.....because Fat Tuesdays is not open.  There is a daiquiri bar called Fat Tuesdays, but it is not a club and not the same.  You can get a drink there but that is it.  You won't see MTV there.....get to dance in the open...or hang out by the beach and listen to the music.  It does not exist....it is nothing...nada...only a small little drink bar.  Sorry.....I miss it, too.  It was one of my favorite places to go.

Fat Tuesday reopened at the ferry dock that services Isla Mujeres. The building has a huge sign on it that says El Embarcadero, and it is located at Km 4 on the west side of a short bridge, you can't miss it.
