Father Daughter dance?

Is the Father daughter dance from the father or from the daughter?

I have seen it go both ways.  If your dad has a special song that he wants to dance with you to, then go for it.  Otherwise, find a song that reminds you of your father and dance to that.

My father-daughter dance is going to be "My Father's Eyes" by Eric Clapton.  Everytime I hear it I think of my dad. :)

Generally it is from the Daughter to her Father (it's like her reaction to her father giving her away).  But it's your wedding - it can be done either way!

The dance really means the most when it has between the two of you OR is picked especially for your dad - maybe telling him the things you have a hard time saying?
