Question:

Fathers Day Crafts?

My husband will be celebrating his first Father's Day this year. My son is only 3 months. I wanted to make a craft for him and somehow tie in a baseball theme or something to do with baseball. Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. Go to a local hobby store.  They sell cement mixes in the size of a small cake tin.  Buy that and you can also buy trinkets there for about 5 to 10 cents each.  Buy little baseballs and baseball bats and hats.  Mix the concrete and either put your son's hand or foot imprint into the mix.  While it's still wet put the trinkets in it along with the letters of your son's name or 1st fathers day.  I did a similar idea with my son for my wife years ago and she still says it's one of the best gifts she's received.  I got my stuff at Hobby Lobby but any hobby store will have it.

  2. The stepping stone is a great idea. You could also dress your son up in a baseball outfit if you have one, then take his picture. Buy some of the computer iron on transfer paper and print the pickture onto the iron on paper. You can also type out Daddy's little slugger in whatever font you want. Print that onto the iron on paper as well. Then iron your son's picture and the words onto a t- shirt.

I am pretty sure you can get iron on paper at Walmart, craft stores or any office supply store.
