I have been extremely tired and having nausea over the last 2 weeks. I had my gallbladder removed in May. Has anyone else had the same issues? I am otherwise healthy and I am 32 yrs old. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  1. Well... the gallbladder helps you digest food.  It secretes stuff that helps break down fatty foods, so if you don't have a gallbladder then a) you won't be able to digest those foods well and b) if you eat a lot of fatty food and it's going straight through your digestive system, it could be taking other nutrients with it so that you can't absorb them either.  It's possible that you have a nutrient deficiency of some sort.  Your doctor should have discussed an appropriate diet with you; if he/she hasn't, then you should contact them.

It's also possible that you've just picked up a flu virus or something - those can cause nausea and fatigue and last a couple of weeks.
