Fault with Gas Ignition

Question

The top oven is also a grill. When one turns on the gas the ignition automatically works. It appears to work but whilst the gas is alight for a considerable time and the grill is up to temperature the ignition is still clicking as it does when lighting up BUT there is no spark visibile as there is when the oven is lighting up
