Faulty Fuel sender - Mitsubishi Verada

I have a faulty fuel sender on my Mitsubishi Verada - it shows full after topping up but then drops to empty soon after.I need to check the electrical connections - where do I find the sender ?? Can you advise its location in the car and how I get to it
