  1. The Venetian is indeed the best IMO. But the restaurants are much better at the Wynn.

  2. There are many wonderful hotels in Las Vegas but my Favorite is MGM.  This is the largest hotel in the world (for now) and it huge.  They have the best location on the strip with two Monorail stops on the Las Vegas Monorail system which runs the entire length of the strip from MGM to Hilton on the East.  The rooms are always good, and they have an upscale version of their rooms at Signature.  They have always been accommodating to me as far as giving me a splendid strip view when requested and the concierge service is good.  Still the best thing in Location, Location, Location and price.  If you just want the Best Hotel on the strip regardless of price I suggest 4 seasons, then Wynn, then Bellagio, then Venetian/Plazzo.  But if you are looking for a value, play the mid range hotels against one another for a quality value combination that is hard to beat.

  3. South Point was amazing!!  It was not directly on the strip, but it was close.  It was a great price and the service was nice!  Plus they have the best buffet EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  4. My favorite would be Caesars Palace. It has everything you need, there is no need to leave the hotel.

  5. Its pretty hard to put it down to one but probably MIrage, great pool, lovely old school casino, luxury but not at high prices http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008...

My fave budget hotel is Excalibur, big clean rooms, fun casino nice staff and good buffet  http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008...

  6. The Venetian is AWESOME.  I just love the design and the way it looks.

  7. hey why is my profile pic a guy?

I was there a year ago (for labor day 07) with my hubby and a friend. we stayed at the Mirage; which we liked very much. but I would have to say that 3 casinos stand out in my memory that I would much rather stay at next time. MGM, Bellagio, and Cesaers. MGM is massively impressive. it just seems to be a place were a younger crowd would hang. Bellagio oozed luxe (walking into the casinos 1 thing always stood out to me, they're all dark and  a little dingy with a slight depressing atmosphere) well that was not the case at Bellagio the colors were lighter, and cleaner. it felt luxurious and welcoming and I sat in awe as I saw my friend turn $20 into $200 at a black jack slot machine (which I don't believe they have any black jack slot machines at the other casinos) and last but not least is Cesaers. it has the best shopping and a huuuge casino, not to mention just soooo much to look at; we actually got lost in it :) all in all I'am happy that we stayed at the Mirage for our first trip to Vegas. it is a little smaller then the other casinos, and things are pretty easy to find in it.  I was pretty happy with my trip to Vegas, next time I think it would be a toss up between Cesaers and Bellagio. and I would go in like Feb, or March when it isn't soooo freaking hot and miserable.

  8. I really like Hard Rock. It is off the strip but it's a good place to be. It attracts a younger crowd and there is always attractive people there. It is also a smaller casino and it doesn't sound like the rest of the casinos, all the slot machine noise and what not. The rooms are nice and a good size.
