Favorite Hunting Rounds?

What is your favorite hunting cartridge. Whether it be rifle, shotgun, or pistol. If could also add any hunting experiences with these rounds as well. Myself i'm pretty fond of the 300 Win Mag for open range shooting, but for the past few years have been hunting in densely forested areas and therefore have used a Remington 870 and 11-87 12 GA with rifled barrel and Premier Core Lokt Sabot Slugs. Amazing accuracy for shotgun slug with devastating results.

Deer:  .25-06 Remington.

Hog:  .350 Remington Magnum

Real big hogs:  .458 Win. Mag.

All-around just-in-case:  .308 Winchester

But not a normal 308 Winchester rifle or cartridge. The rifle is a Ruger 77 with a Kreiger match heavy barrel 1/10 twist with Leupold VXII 4-12X40 LRD, long range duplex.

The cartridge is built on Rem W7 Match brass, Hornady 110 grain VMax bullet over Norma 201 powder (charge is classified) . This deadly combo shoots one ragged hole, sub-1/2" MOA and has taken about a hundred Coyotes.

It's too much for Fox and Bobcat so I have a special 243 for them.
