The revolving view restaurant and lounge at the marriot marqui in times square.  There's also the broadway lounge in the same hotel.  The broadway lounge puts you at eye level of the cool lit up advertisements in times square.

Friends from out of town stayed at the Hotel Gansevoort and we had drinks at Plunge, the rooftop lounge/swimming pool - really nice place.
