Favorite Sports Team?

Question

I support the NE Patriots for football && the Red Sox for Baseball. Then the Tar Heels for collage basketball, because i used to live in all those places where the teams are from for quite a while. (NC & CT).

What about you? Do you support them because your from that place, or simply because they're a good team? Is it kinda wrong just to like them because they're good & your not even from that place?

The Pittsburgh Steelers, the one team with the biggest global fan base, one of the most winningest teams in football with 5 Super Bowl rings...you can find a Steelers bar (maybe more) in every city, town, borough, municipality throughout the United States...and they accomplished this all without using a video camera.  Charlie Daniels said it best...you just go and lay your hands on a Pittsburgh Steeler Fan, and i finally think youll understand

Baseball: Red Sox (All the way, baby! Cuz of my bf)

Football: Giants (Sorry, I live in NJ)

Basketball: Celtics (I duuno, they're just likable)

Collage Basketball: Yep, Tar Heels too (cuz my neighbor's a big fan)

Well, I don't think it's wrong to support them if they're good, but don't go switching back and forth between the Red Sox and the Yankees because one of them is in first place.  I hate people who jump the wagon.

well, for the 2nd part, i support the team i think will win, i mean, just because you happen to live in the place where a team is from doesn't mean your opinion will be the same as everyone else! and, its not wrong, because, you should be able to have your own opinion!
