Northern Minnesota

   Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is fabulous

   The North Shore of Lake Superior from Duluth to Grand Marais is also very scenic and great place to visit!

North Carolina (my home state). We have the best of both worlds, the mountains and the beach, the best of climates (warm and cool), the best of weather, great activities, sports, entertainment, schools, towns, communities. Great place for jobs and raising a family. Everyone in your town knows one another and it is just wonderful to wave to your neighbors and say hello, at least in the smaller towns. Raleigh and Charlotte are great, Asheville and Wilmington are awesome, and the sweet tea is just superb!

I live in Texas and it is wonderful here, there are many different type of landscapes here.  You have the desert lands in the west, canyon lands in the panhandle, hill country in the middle, coastline at the coast (duh?!), and deep pinewood forest region in the east.  Only problem is it is freaking hot in the summer!

But my absolute favorite spot in US is polar opposite - Minnesota....the north shore is spectacular!  The scenery is so beautiful.  Go there if you ever have the chance, take a drive from Duluth, MN all the way to the Canadian border.

I abosluetly LOOVVVEEE Arizona! all the desert, super hot/dry climate, reptiles, and awesome food, what's not to love? and my brother lives out there, so its nice to see him...

New Mexico,I drove across country a couple years ago and at sundown went thru there and was amazed with what I saw with the hills and storm passing. I still would not trade living in NC for it though!!

Maine, Old Orchard beach, 7 miles of beautiful beach and a great fun Pier at one end with amazing cheap to expensive restaurants and an amusement park (permanent carnival) for the kids.

15 minutes away is a great water park and many other things.

Go to mainecamping.com, you don't have to camp and check it out, it is amazing.

Well I live in Missouri so that would be my favorite state. My favorite state that I have visited would be Florida.
