Favorite Things About Winter?

I am doing a debate in my speech class on summer vs. winter. i'm in favor for winter. it's pretty broad, so any favorite things to do in winter, reasons why it is better, more exciting, etc than summer are great!

oh okay. well winter = the holiday season! there's christmas, new years, new years eve. winter's a great time to spend more time w/ friends & family :)

cross country skiing

  very peaceful and the beauty of a snow covered pine trees is unbelievable.  A plus is that it is a great workout!
