Sweet Valley High Series, "The Evil Twin" and "Return of the Evil Twin" and of course J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter Series, she is an effing genius.The books are far more excellent and better than those movies!!!

I'm 13 and i like to read the PenDragon series and no it's not about a dragon its about a guy with the last name PenDragon i read all of the books. They are all great you feel like you are in the books. They are easily found in your local library. Good Luck on finding the right book for you.

I know this will sound totally typical, but you should definately read the Twilight Series. I read it in just over a week and at points it made me laugh cry and want to throw the book across the room. Stephanie Meyer's writing is absolutely flawless, and I garuntee that by the end of Twilight, you'll be wishing you were in Bella's shoes.

I'd also have to recommend The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. It's a science fiction novel, but it doesn't seem like one at all. The main character, Tally uncovers deep and disturbing secrets about her so called "perfect" society and is sent on a whirlwind of adventures. There's action, drama, thought provoking details, and of course, romance. After reading the series, you'll be crazed on all things bubbly.

Depends what type of teen book you're looking for.

If you want the kind of stereotypical teen girl dealing-with-life kind of thing, then you should try the Clique series or the Gossip Girl series.

If you want a kind of deeper perspective, I loved the book "Looking For Alaska." It's got to be my favorite book and it's simply wonderful. It's sort of romance, and sort of dramedy, with a little bit of philosophy thrown in.
