Favorite boxing books?

some of the great reads that stand out to you?

One I enjoyed was "Roar Of The Crowd" ( Bio. of Jim Corbett) Another I never got to finish (Lost or stole?) was "The Fireside Book of Boxing" Remember it as being a execellent read. Highly recommend it if you can find one. Thanks

My personal favorite is "A Piece Of Steak" a short story by Jack London.  Arthur Conan Doyle had one called the "Croxley Master" that comes to mind as well.  There have been a lot of great boxing books, but the short stories seem to stand out for me.  "The Chickasaw BoneCrusher" is another great short story.  I think there is a book of boxing short stories with all of these in it, but the title slips my mind.
