Camarones a la Plancha (Grilled shrimp, with an avocado salad and rice w/beans) at Los Planes de Renderos and a Pilsen de Callao beer (El Salvadorean restaurant, Peruvian beer). Washington DC.

Pad Thai at Thai Derm, with a Singha (Thai) beer. Silver Spring Md.

Yum Squid (appetizer) at Duangrat's and a Singha beer. Falls Church Va.

Big Red-and-Green Platter at Anita's Tex-Mex, with a Negra Modelo (Mexican) beer. Vienna, Va.

7-Layer burrito at Taco Bell

but best of all, either my late Mom's Spaghetti Marinara with some Guinea Red/Vino da Tavola (No-vintage red Italian table wine), garlic bread and a green salad with her 'Doorknob' dressing (that dressing was so good, people swore they could 'eat a doorknob' if that dressing was on it)

i have a lot of favorites, but lately i've been craving a lot of stuff from olive garden...like the cheese ravioli, lasagna, fettucini alfredo, eggplant parm...oh man :-D  especially with their salad & breadsticks, & spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer if we're going all out here - yum!
