"Split Infinity" by Piers Anthony. It's like stepping into another world. I often wish Earth were more like Phaze, although it's increasingly resembling Proton [prolly makes no sense to the majority of you].

The Harry Potter Series.

It contains elements of adventure, skill, romance(sort of), magic, and deep imagination.

Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling created this vivid world with simple but entertaining characters you grow to care about and even relate to.  It's clever and colorful.  The mystery and foreshadowing's incredible.

And also twilight - a beautiful love story with decent foreshadowing and unpredictable twists (Breaking Dawn).

The Night Land by William Hope Hodgson  . One of the strangest visions ever published in science fiction or fantasy is presented.
