Meatloaf, Burgers, pizza, casseroles, steak, chicken, fish....potatoes.....most people had meat potatoes and vegetable at every meal....fast food was available back then also......but more people cooked or grilled on charcoal grills.....

In the midwest in early 60's we were just staring to get fast food. Think we had an A & W root beer stand. A Maid-rite, which was chicken and burgers maybe FF. Of course the DQ. Other than that we ate mostly at home. And you know people were not as fat as they are today...people dont cook like they did back in the day..
