I really would like a good foundation or concealer!

i've tried different types, but don't really like any.

maybe my criteria is too picky...

-sweat proof! (i play tennis, and whenever i wipe my forehead it's coated in foundation)

-cover-up acne!

-not look too cakey!

-lasts all day!

if you know of anything good, please tell me :)

thanks!

  1. It's taken me years but I finally know the answer to both these question:

Concealer: neutogena 3-in-1 concealer. It doesn't cake or move ever! and it has super coverage without having to layer it.

Once I do my eyes and and acne or dark spots I use afterglow cosmetics mineral foundation and blush. it stays on all day. I used to fuss with my makeup constantly because my acne would always show through but it don't even worry about it anymore. It's a tad expensive and you have to get it online but you don't need much at all and since you never have to re-touch it last months. Less is defiantly more with this stuff, but you need the right brush. I use the one they sell and it works really well without wasting a lot of powder.

    Hope this helps!

  2. I really like Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage concealer, it's $18 and it's really everything you want in a concealer, it's my musthave makeup product

  3. Im still looking for a great foundation, but a really good concealer is makeup forever full cover..it covers everything and its waterproof..its a little expensive, but great buy!

  4. I like Loreal Bare Naturale foundation and concealer. They're loose powder mineral makeup. It has really good coverage, covers all of my acne, and doesn't make me break out. Their transluscent powder is good too.

It will last all day if you use a primer, I like Rimmel's Fix and Perfect foundation primer, it preps the skin for foundation and keeps it on longer.

If you use a setting spray with it, it won't be cakey. You can finish your foundation concealer and powder, then mist your face. Another way is to get your foundation onto your brush, then mist it with the spray and apply it, it will go on like a liquid foundation, but still has good coverage. A good cheap setting spray is Aquafina's Hydrating Facial Spray.

You might still get some transfer after you play tennis, but if you take the foundatin and/or transluscent powder with you, you can touch up afterwards.

    Hope this helps!
