Favorite local food spots?

What are your favorite food spots that are local, you know those kinds of place, you can't find anywhere else.

They can be local fast food places, or local places that are not fast food types of places.

ooh! my favorites..In ElPaso,TX Tasso's greek restaurant, and Chico's  tacos.  In Lubbock, TX  Lubbock's Breakfast House, Rooftop Cafe and the Monday special at 82nd Cafe It's called southwest chicken strips, it comes with alot of vegetables and a roll, I find myself waitng for Mondays. Does anyone know if Leoni's is still in Long Beach,CA? That was the best. Orlando's in Lubbock TX is good too, great spagetti.

Taco Box in Clovis, New Mexico.  I went there all the time when I was in high school, it is soooo good.
