I have tons, but the one which came to mind first is -

"Go to Sleep. (Little Man being Erased.)" by Radiohead

GREAT lyrics, perfectly convey Thom Yorke's political and societal dismay and fury (which I can relate to).

"We don't really want a monster taking over / Tiptoe around, tie him down / We don't want the loonies takin' over..."

The song's five years old now, but serves as the perfect reaction to McCain/Palin (the monsters, the loonies).

Where's your knowledge of Musical History ??

Check out bands, like The Weavers & Woody Guthrie.

They were under immense political pressure, because of their history of singing protest songs and folk songs favoring labor unions.

Did C,S,N,Y or Peter, Paul, & Mary have to Live in Fear ??

Now - Those were the serious people -- not like the Garbage of a Song like "OHIO" - which is complete Propaganda.

Where's the song about the Facts of the Tens of Thousands of People, RUSHING at a Moderate Force of Young National Guardsman ??
