Favorite place to go skiing?

i'm going again this year. i have been skiing for 9 years... any good places??

The resorts in Summit County, Colorado (Keystone, Breck, A-basin, Copper) suck, don't go there. Tell all your friends not to go there, too. also Vail, Beaver Creek, and Winter Park aren't very good. But seriously, Taos, Deer Valley, Snowmass, Steamboat, and Whistler are all good resorts.

Here are some places I ski: Blue Mountain (Collingwood), Boyne,Killington (Vermont), Mnt. St. Anne (Quebec), and Le Massif (Quebec)

It always depends on where you are, where the snow is, and can you afford it.  Personally, I love Whistler-Blackcomb in BC, Canada.  Many other good resorts, Mt Bachelor, Oregon, Crystal Mt, Washington,  Mt Hood Meadows, Oregon.  many of the Utah and Colorado resorts, and of course always Sun Valley, Idaho.

Fernie BC....great snow, relaxing laid back scene

Switzer Mtn ID...the scenery is fabulous

Stevens Pass Wa....just 'cause I like the lights in Leavenworth

Alta UT...so much varied terrain you could never get bored and NO 'boarders allowed

Bolton Valley VT/Mt Tremblant PQ...best apres ski

Beaver Valley ON...because it's a 2 minute walk to the lift and I can ski down to my front door

opps almost forgot Beaver Mtn UT...no crowded lift lines and the cheapest lift ticket I've ever seen plus you gotta love the website name "skithebeav.com"

Crested Butte and surrounding back country.  It's awesome and there's tons of night-life.

Marble Mountain. It is located just outside of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Great location, and quite a few places to stay locally. Hope this helps.

i like a place in tuxedo, NY.

It is not a big place, but has big hills and other stuff.

it is cheaper, and there are less people on the mountain. very nice place.

Marble Mountain???  What?  Sure Newfoundland is cold and has snow, but that doesn't mean its a great place to ski.  Michigan is cold and has snow too, maybe you could rock Boyne this season!

The best skiing.  Alta, UT.  Jackson Hole, WY.  Steamboat Springs, CO  Kicking Horse, Alberta Canada.

Leave the east coast to the ice skaters.
